The Corinthians vs Millonarios Copa Libertadores 2013 match will be this Wednesday, February 27, 2013 (8:00 PM EDT) at the Estadio Paulo Machado in Sao Paulo. Corinthians (BRA) and Millonarios (COL) will play their second game during the group stages of the Copa Libertadores 2013.  They are part of Group 5 which also includes Xolos (MEX) and San Jose (BOL); the top two teams will advance to the final-16.

Corinthians was not efficient last week when they tied San Jose de Oruro 1-1.  Maybe it was because of the 3,700 meters of altitude in Bolivia, or because they were out of form, but Corinthians is a team that cannot afford to lose points.  They now have the pressure to convert the win against a tough opponent like Millonarios, and if they play in good form, Corinthians should not have a problem winning.

Millonarios was put in a whole last week when they lost at home against Xolos of Tijuana.  They lost extremely valuable points at home in one of the toughest groups in the Copa Libertadores 2013, and on Wednesday they will have the pressure to not lose in Brazil.  Their offense cannot afford to miss clear scoring opportunities if they plan to earn at least one point against Corinthians.

Corinthians vs Millonarios Prediction

Last week, Corinthians played a bad game against a bad team like San Jose de Oruro.  Millonarios on the other hand played a bad game against a tough opponent like Xolos.  This game will be crucial in the outcome of the group, therefore, the home team will take advantage of their stadium and fans.  The Corinthians vs Millonarios match will end in a 2-1 win for the home team.
