This is how the Liga MX Liguilla will be played

The regular season has ended, and the eight teams that will play in the playoffs have been determined. Furthermore, the three teams that will play in the 2013 Copa Libertadores is also set.

These will be the quarterfinal match ups:

Toluca vs Chivas (Thursday-Sunday)
Xolos vs Monterrey  (Thursday-Sunday)
Leon vs Cruz Azul (Wednesday-Saturday)
America vs Morelia (Wednesday-Saturday)

Toluca and Tijuana will be playing in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores, Leon will have to play in the qualifying stage of the Copa Libertadores.

For the playoffs, the winner of the quarterfinals will be decided by the aggregate score, if the scores are draw, the away goals will be the tiebreaker, if away goals are also the same, then the position in the standings is the tiebreaker. This is a break from the previous years in the playoffs, where the position in the standings used to be the first tiebreaker used.
