In Argentina’s first division league match between famed River Plate vs Velez Sarsfield, River Plate hooligans climbed the stadium fences during the game to ‘celebrate’ their team’s 2-0 loss. In the 74thth minute, and as their team was losing 2-0 in Velez’s stadium, Estadio José Amalfitani de Liniers, people from River’s ‘barra brava’ dismantled the fences in an act of stadium violence. In response, the stadium’s firefighters entered the pitch to hose down the troublemakers.
